When the river recedes the sloughs are cut off from river access and the lakes are naturally restocked with fish. Travel east 1 mile from Nichols on SC Hwy 9 & US76 crossing the Lumber River and continue .8 miles veering left on US 76. Continue 1.75 miles and turn left/northwest on Sand Plant Rd. Continue 2.17 miles on Sand Plant Rd to Causey Rd & Seaboard Coast Line RR. Turn right /northeast and continue 2.45 miles to property on the left/northwest side of the Causey Rd.
