Travis Smock is a land broker and shareholder of Peoples Company, an industry-leading, Iowa-based firm that focuses on land brokerage and auctions, land management, land investing, and appraisals throughout the nation. Since joining the company in 2013, Travis has become a versatile member of the cohesive team, assisting in projects across the country, taking pride in learning and adapting to new areas, advancing the company’s top-notch marketing, and building relationships throughout the industry. Additionally, Travis has helped to expand the company’s footprint with the opening of a remote office in Independence, Iowa.

Travis is actively involved in the Iowa Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) where he is a past president. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Travis has continued his education by working towards obtaining the Accredited Land Consultant designation from RLI as well as receiving Real Estate licenses in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. In turn, he has earned the RLI Apex Award each year from its inception in 2017, which awards top-producing land agents in the United States.

Travis is well-versed in all types of land transactions from income-producing farmland to recreational properties. He is focused on land auctions, public and private listings, and land investment opportunities throughout the United States.
