I was lucky. I grew up helping my father improve ranches in South Texas. It was hard work, but at the same time, it was fun. Dad put me and my brothers to work fixing fences, clearing roads, filling feeders and doing whatever he thought would keep us out of trouble.

There were rewards too. At the end of the day, there was usually a steak dinner followed by some story telling around a good fire. We did a lot of hunting and fishing, searched for arrow heads and just enjoyed ourselves.

I didn’t know it at the time, but all of this helped shape my future and career. Whether I’m helping someone sell a ranch or assisting someone locate their dream place, I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I count many of my past clients as friends and remain a resource for them.

I'm proud to say I worked my way through school earning a degree in finance with honors from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
