Steven Smith

Steven Smith brings more than three decades of forestry, timber, land management and real estate experience to America’s Land Partners. A 1993 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Forest Resource Management, he began his career in the timber industry and became a licensed forester in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Throughout his career, Steven has worked extensively in timber procurement, forest and land management and wood products manufacturing. In 2009, he founded Cross Creek Timber, LLC, a forestry and timber procurement company serving landowners throughout Upstate South Carolina. His work in the field has given him firsthand experience evaluating timber, understanding land productivity, identifying property attributes while helping landowners make informed decisions about their property. Recognizing that many of the landowners he worked with also needed knowledgeable assistance when buying or selling property, Steven expanded into real estate. He became a licensed real estate professional in 2009 and founded Cross Creek Realty, LLC in 2013. . Today, Steven brings that combination of forestry and real estate experience to America’s Land Partners.
