Wendell Bryant Colston

I was born in 1961 in Macon, GA and grew up in Macon until 1980, when I attended Georgia Southern College in 1980.

I left Georgia Southern and moved to Harlem in 1983 where I went to work at WF Hall Printing company located at the now RecTeQ grill location.

After a few years at Hall Printing company, I went to work at Bob Beard Ford on Wrightsboro Rd and began a successful career in the automobile business.

In 1989 I was recruited and subsequently hired by Mr. Greg Hodges, owner of Acura/Mitsubishi/Saturn of Augusta on “good ole” Miracle Mile Gordon Highway.

I was the GM of Augusta Mitsubishi from 1989 until Greg’s untimely passing in 2002.

Soon afterwards I opened my own business, Southern Hot Rods, where we dealt primarily in classic\collectible automobiles. I really enjoyed this business for the next 15 or so years and I still do enjoy the classic and collectible cars.
