The improved road system winds its way through massive hardwood stands along the majestic Tenn-Tom River. Strategically located throughout the property are wildlife fields overflowing with deer and turkeys, purposefully flooded cypress brakes for waterfowl, and many deer stands only in need of an afternoon hunter.

The timber component of Owl Creek is mainly mixed pine/hardwood forest. There are a few scattered areas of managed loblolly pine creating habitat throughout the property.
