Terlingua Ranch has no restrictions except for lights that keep our dark skies "DARK" so we do not have any light pollution. Star gazing is a big pastime for astronomers, professional & amateur alike. So bring your telescopes, cameras, and sleeping bags (that is what we did when I was little). You will find the staff at the lodge helpful and friendly. There is a main office, cabins, cafe, RV & Tent camping, and a dirt runway for those who choose to fly in. There are no gas sales at the ranch. Gas sales are only in Alpine & Study Butte. There are also charging stations for electric cars but I do not know how many. Alpine has about 5 charging stations on 118 South just past the football station. Please call us in advance to schedule a showing and bring your high-clearance auto. 4-wheel drive is not necessary.
