**4WD NEEDED. If dirt road is wet use extreme caution. From Alamogordo head North on White Sands Blvd towards Tularosa. Take a left onto Radio Rd, then in 0.7 miles turn left onto Riata Rd. in 1.1 miles turn right onto Pecos Rd. After 2 miles keep straight (you will leave pavement and go onto a dirt road-there is a sign that says "198B") In about 0.7 miles you will see a steel gate that has a "private property/no trespassing sign", one side of gate is open go through that. Then you will go about another 0.3 miles to get to the start of the road access through the property. There is an underground culvert pipe with two white tipped stakes on either side, that is the beginning of the property line on the west.
