This secluded, mountain paradise offers 33.26 acres +/- of unrestricted property! This is not a 'drive by!' Park at the red gate and walk the property. This is the best place to access the ridge. Walking in, the seller has painted markers where the approximate property line would be on your left. You can hike from one side of the property to the other side across this ridge! To view the other side of the ridge, there's a driveway past my last sign on Ridge Rd on the left. Park at the last residence and you see the power lines on the ridge and an orange stake. It's an adventurous hike, but very enjoyable being out in the seclusion of nature!! Take breaks along the way to soak in mountain views of Rocky Top, Max Patch, Halls Top, White Rock and Snowbird Mountain! This stunning, small mountain community is known for white water rafting on the beautiful Pigeon River! It is also the gateway to the Great Smokies National Park! Hartford is located at the northeastern tip of the Great Smoky Mountains and is within the Cherokee National Forest! There are so many possibilities for developing this property! Use your imagination! Build rental cabins, domes, or even treehouses! Or with the possibilities of many house sites, build your private, secluded family compound and enjoy ''living off the grid!'' SORBA (Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association) is making plans for 50-100 miles of mountain biking trails to be built in the Cherokee National Forest! This is a great time to get in on building overnight rentals that will be needed for this; not to mention the thousands of visitors who already come to beautiful Hartford for fun and adventures! Hiking is another pastime in Hartford, including hiking a part of the Appalachian Trail at Max Patch (just across the state line). One easy 0.9-mile hike is the Little Fall Branch Trail, which leads to a beautiful waterfall, while the Davenport Gap to Max Patch is almost 10 miles long and is much more of a challenge to hike. Or enjoy hunting, trout fishing, camping, and Zip Lining! You are only 15 minutes from Newport for shopping and dining. Less than an hour from Asheville and Maggie Valley! You're under an hour from the mountain resort city of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge attractions, and Knoxville. Or visit Historic Downtown Dandridge and enjoy beautiful Douglas Lake! The camper does not convey; it will be removed. Buyers and buyer's agents to verify all information as information was taken from public records.
