Little Beaver Estates borders the Oak Ridge State Wildlife Area, some of the best elk and deer hunting in northwest Colorado. Eight miles east of Meeker off of County Road 6. Twenty one 35 acre parcels of rolling hills which are currently farm land. The developer built a private road through the estates providing access to the lots on either side of the road. The road ends at the south side of the development where it borders the Colorado Division of Wildlife's - 6,000 acre Oak Ridge Wildlife Area, where there is very good Elk, Pronghorn, and Mule Deer hunting, accessed by foot or horseback only. A common area along the south side of Lots 15 and 16 provides an unloading area where only the owners of the Little Beaver Estates can park, overlook and access the State land.
