Redding I=5 Exit 680 East 299, go past Diddy Wells CDF @ 16.5 miles, then Left on Seamans gulch road, 3 miles up the rough road to Backbone Ridge, then left 2 miles, water tank and a sign should be visible. in winter it takes 4x4 to get in and out. Access is also a bit shorter off Dry Creek (worse road) and better road Sugar Pine (takes longer)
