Parcels 3 and 4 of Parcel Map No. 1469 in the City of Ridgecrest, County of Kern, State of California, as per Map recorded February 11, 1974 in Book 9, Page 15 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.

EXCEPTING THEREFROM 50% of any and all oil, gas and other hydrocarbon substances and all other minerals of any and every kind within and underlying said land, without any rights, however, to the use of the surface or the sub-surface thereof to a depth of 500 feet from the surface; it is also clearly understood that the Grantors herein expressly reserved the right to explore for, or to develop and produce said substance lying below the depth of 500 feet by means of wells, tunnels or holes drilled through the sub-surface below 500 feet, from drill sites located on other lands, as reserved in the deed from Evelyn Ripley Santino, a married woman, et al, dated March 17, 1960 and recorded April 4, 1960 in Book 3255, Page 507 of Official Records.
