Nathan Bedford Forrest Calvary Camped on the property before the start of the battle on April 6th, 1862. Likely in the area of the property to the east, based on historical records and the calvary route of advance. The Calvery was placed there to protect Lick Creek from a Union advance. Around noon on the 6th, Forrest ordered his men to move north towards the fighting.
