798 Acres of Recreational Land for Sale in Hull, Texas
County Road 2427 E, Hull, TX 77564
Batiste Creek Hunting and Timber Tract offers great recreational and hunting ground plus over 500 acres of plantation pine! According to cruise data from 2020 for the north side of the tracks in Liberty County, there are 308.5 acres of timber that were planted in 1990 and 1991. That's out of a total of +/- 530 acres in that tract. Absent any cruise data on the Hardin County side of the property containing +/- 296 acres, sellers believe the pine was planted between 2000 and 2002. In addition to possible timber income, this property also generates income through an annual hunting lease! Batiste Creek traverses the property from northwest to southeast. This area is known as the Big Thicket or Timberlands region of the Piney Woods. Native timber and creek bottom provide water, cover, and food for outstanding wildlife habitat. This area is known for having whitetail deer and wild hogs. Excellent access from Hull via an easement with an all-weather road. +/- 28.8 acres have been removed in the pricing to account for two easements being retained by seller. Don't miss this opportunity!
Directions
From 834 in Hull, turn east on County Road 2427 E. Stay on the County Rd for approximately .73 miles and the gate will be on the left before you get to the plant. Per seller, there should be another access to the south part of the Hardin County tract. It is found by heading north from Devers on Still Meadow Lane. Crossing Batiste Creek may be prohibitive and it's easiest to use the gate in Hull, next to the plant.
