Land

Arrow Rim Ranch encompasses approximately 249 acres more or less of alpine beauty that is accessed from County Road 249! The ranch's entire northern perimeter borders BLM with limited public access, making the property much more admirable. However, the southern perimeter also borders BLM giving one much more country to adventure throughout! The land within the perimeters of the property is comprised of a ridge peaking at roughly 8400 feet which slopes downwards to several drainages and draws that are engulfed in thick timber. In the early months, there are potential seasonal runoff streams that flow through the draws and ultimately feed into the nearby Cow Creek on the bordering BLM. The bottoms of each draw are lined with pines and aspens, and as the slopes rise up the ridges, the land is mostly consisted of oak brush with few timber pockets dispersed along the way. The open-country among the tops of the ridges provide excellent views of the lower elevations and different land formations in the distance!

Being located in GMU 22, over-the-counter tags are available in multiple seasons for elk, whereas deer tags are draw only. On top of the big game hunting, GMU 22 also has over-the-counter spring and fall turkey tags available. With a high presence of elk, deer, turkey, and sometimes moose that nourish on the ranch and the surrounding area, hunting opportunities are highly desired!

Location

To the north of the ranch, Meeker, CO provides gas stations, a hospital, a couple restaurants, and a grocery store and is approximately 1 hour away. Just over 1 hour southeast of the property is where the town of Rifle, CO is located. Due to being much bigger than Meeker, Rifle has a much bigger selection of grocery stores, dine-in restaurants, convenient stores with gas stations, a hospital, downtown businesses, and multiple other recreational amenities. In regards to recreations, Glenwood Springs, CO has the Glenwood Hot Springs, as well as the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park which are must visits, and are located less than 30 minutes east of Rifle! The closest airports that offer commercial air travel services are located in Gypsum, CO (Eagle County Regional Airport) and Grand Junction, CO ( Grand Junction Regional Airport ); both of which are around 2 hours from the ranch.
