The fully-fenced ranch has a partially-enclosed 5-stall horse barn with tack room, feed room, covered wash rack with concrete pad and wash sink, plus a sloped pasture and round pen. There's an outdoor shower and outhouse for convenience. You can also board horses in the unused stalls and create your own income! The Santa Margarita River Preserve is just 3 minutes away with renowned trails for horseback riding, hiking, or mountain biking. For gardeners, there's a large, organic garden area with greenhouse and garden shed, plus fruit trees. You can bring chickens or other farm animals - there's no coop now but plenty of room to build one. There is also an aviary and additional small barn/shed. Maximum of 6 horses allowed.
The Details
Utilities included are: wifi, electric, water, trash, and monthly gardener for weed control. You'll just pay for propane (runs hot water, stove, and central heater) and two-thirds of the yearly solar electrical true-up bill, if any. The property is on county water and a septic system. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, and fridge are included, as well as portable air conditioners (3) and space heaters. Also included is a subscription to the local newspaper and bi-monthly ant control. There is another renter in a separate house on the property, but all the ranch facilities - barn, pasture, garden, outbuildings - are exclusively yours to use.
