Harris County, TX land for sale

Although Harris County is only the 11th largest county in Texas, at over 1.1 million acres in total area, it's larger than the state of Rhode Island. It's located in southeast Texas and the southern half is relatively level coastal prairie with the soil being largely made up of black coastal clay, while the north is partly forested with sandy loam soil. It's home to many bayous, rivers, and lakes including Lake Houston.

You can still find Harris County land for sale consisting of farmland, ranches, and pastures mostly located outside the city of Houston. Within Houston and throughout you'll find relatively small residential building lots and commercial properties.
