They are known for excellent fishing for tiger muskies, large mouth bass, blue gills, sunfish, catfish, and wipers. Numerous other bait fish inhabit the reservoirs. The Glen Huber ranch has good mule deer hunting and qualifies for depredation tags for deer and elk. The ranch is well suited for long range shooting, mountain biking, dirt biking, four wheeling, horseback riding, fishing, turkey hunting, coyote hunting, and hiking. The ranch is located within 45 minutes of the high Uinta Mountains with multiple peaks of over 12,000-13,000 feet. There is great high country hunting for elk, mule deer, mountain goats and mountain lions. There is also great high country fishing with over 80 lakes. The 92 mile long Flaming Gorge Reservoir is just over 1 1/2 hours away. It features blue ribbon trout fishing, great boating and excellent river rafting below the dam. The popular Dinosaur National Monument is one hour away with visible fossil and skeletons dating back 150 million years in addition to a quarry and visitor center with historic exhibits.

The 100 cow Glen Huber ranch holds a 95 cow winter permit. 215.5 shares of white rocks irrigation water irrigates 60 acres of production ground and 200 acres of pasture ground, all delivered by a pressurized water system to 3 valley pivots that were installed in 2020 and 2021.

The Glen Huber ranch is located minutes away from Lapoint, Utah, a small quaint community, and is a desirable area for country living. Vernal, Utah is less than 30 minutes away. Vernal Regional airport has commercial jet service with daily service connection to Denver and Phoenix. The area has a semi arid climate averaging 9 inches of rain and 30 inches of snow annually. Located in Northeastern Utah, the Glen Huber Legacy ranch has been in the Huber family for 3 generations. Glen Huber's father and 2 brothers established ranching operations after moving to the area in 1905. They eventually split off into 3 different ranching businesses.
