At its southeast corner, the property abuts Luce County Road 412, and along its southwest border touches the North Country National Scenic Hiking Trail. The property lies in close proximity to several upper Peninsula scenic, camping, and recreation sites: Tahquamenon Falls State Park, 20 miles south, the Two Hearted River State Forest Campground, two miles west, Culhane Lake State camping site, 2 miles south, Paradise, 20 miles southeast and the Crisp Point Lighthouse Historical Site 9 miles east. One-half mile east along the Lake Superior shore is the DNR Little Lake Harbor of Refuge with pier and channel entry access to a DNR mooring dock and boat launch ramp on the lake's east side.
