Also this is a real good location if you like fishing as it is about 15 miles from Lake Holcombe and about the same from Miller Dam. It is only about two miles from Southern Pershing Wildlife Area

3. this is not a mature forest. was select cut 20 plus yrs ago.
4. it is a choke point for deer trying to get from the northeast to the southwest and the other way around. they also come from the southeast to either go north or northeast
