The cattle ground has a hay barn, loafing sheds, and incredibly well-designed working facilities. Four ponds and two wells make getting water to the livestock a breeze. A custom build tower and long-range shooting facility are also located on the 250-acre tract. This range allows for up to 450 yard shots as well as a short range pistol range.

Water is abundant inside the preserve--four separate wells service all the structures, waterers, and breeding facilities. Multiple ponds, including a 4-acre lake and another over an acre, make for great fishing. There are numerous springs and four main tributary creeks, with 3 having year-round water. One of the tributary creeks has had millions of years of running water and has formed a beautiful landscape in limestone, opening into an unexplored small cave.
