This location is an excellent base camp for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts-close to Cottrell State Forest and several other state lands, as well as Lake Delta and the Salmon River Reservoir for boating and fishing (bass, trout, and more). The world-famous Salmon River is also nearby, known for its incredible fall chinook (king) salmon runs, along with steelhead and brown trout fisheries. The land offers gently rolling terrain, hardwood forest, and small clearings frequented by local deer herds.
